General Information

ROSL ARTS organises a popular series of literary events covering a wide range of writers, novelists, biographers, poets, travel and children's writers. Recent sell-out events include: Peter Ackroyd, Beryl Bainbridge, Jennie Bond, AS Byatt, Anthony Howard, Andrea Levy, Michael Morpurgo, Sir Roy Strong, Salley Vickers and Alexander Waugh

We are associated with the Caine Prize for African Writing, and the Children's Laureate, and events have also been presented in collaboration with the Booker Prize, the Goethe Institute and the London Festival of Literature.

Events take place at Over-Seas House, London, throughout the year, Beginning at 7.00pm, the talks generally last around 40 minutes, followed by questions from the audience. Books are also on sale, which can be signed by the author. Tickets for literary events are £7.00/ £5.00 (ROSL members and concessions).
